The Atlas
The map
Twenty-one domains.
The domain
01History
Nothing you are living through is happening for the first time.
Every institution, panic and reform in the present has a rehearsal somewhere behind it. History is the only place to check whether a thing has been tried, and how it went.
What it lets you see
The shape of the present, and which parts of it are actually new.
This week's star
The Lymphatic System
Medicine · Anatomy
The one-way drainage network that returns fluid leaked from blood vessels back to the circulation, and routes it through nodes where the immune system inspects it.
The principle
A drainage system that inspects everything it carries is also the route anything travelling will take.
Example
Sentinel node biopsy exploits this directly: identifying the first node draining a tumour and examining it reveals whether cancer has begun to spread, without removing the whole chain.
In your life
Notice which channels in your work carry everything and get inspected on the way. They are the bottleneck, the early-warning system and the fastest route for anything spreading, all at once.

- Draw a star from the Atlas. Narrow it to a domain first, or take them all.
- Research it for 10, 20 or 30 min. Your own sources — no AI.
- Explain it. You have 1, 2 or 3 min to say what you just researched, in your own words.
The goal — a star you could not explain becomes one you can, out loud and from memory.
